In the night we were sure there were some stray dogs sniffing around the camp. It was also very cold. Both factors kept us up, and Kieran tried sleeping with snow filled water bottles inside his sleeping bag to melt water for the morning, which kept him cold all night.
The day was pretty uneventful, we came across no people and stopped at no places, just tried to make distance through an almost constant blizzard, knowing that we had to start hitting our targets as soon as possible. We didn’t do too bad, and concluded that with a bit of luck we would be back up to standard pretty soon.

wrap the bottles in something like sleeping bags when you are walking, in another bag of course….
