All morning was torrential rain, and after 8km we came across a cafe and sought refuge. Whilst we waited, a car pulled up with three men, one of them wearing a full camouflage dinner suit.
The rain subsided and we got back on the road. About 10km later a car pulled over and a friendly mustached man got out, followed by two rather dangerous looking men. As has been an increasingly common thing in Ukraine however, though they looked dangerous, they were actually really nice people, and after a chat about how we were finding Ukraine and them wishing us luck, they left us with twenty hryvnia and five euros.
We decided to push for 30km, but decided it was pointless at 25km and set up camp, got out the cards and played poker.
