We got on the road early, and were greeted by a few people. First off a couple on a bike stopped to say hello, then later a man on a bike covered with country region stickers stopped to say hey, and further down the road a guy in a bread van stopped to ask for our blog address and wish us luck!
A very sociable day, made even more pleasant by the road going through pleasant woodland, giving us some shade from the sun.
Nearing a town we stopped at a bus stop to check the map, saw some strange graffiti, and decided to stop for the day and properly charge all our things in a hotel restaurant near where we were. Whilst inside we talked with family back home, who convinced us to stay at the hotel for the night rather than camp. Not needing too much encouragement, we booked two beds, showered, cleaned clothes, charged everything, enjoyed wifi and slept in comfy beds, with a breakfast in the morning to boot.
