17.08.2012 Making plans and then not doing them

We decided that as our tent was awfully cheap and now had two ducktaped poles, it might be a good idea to find a back-up cheap tent. So we decided to spend a day in Radom searching.

We walked around the town, which is quite nice, though no where was doing food which was odd. We then found a shopping centre and everything we were looking for. Got some food, found a couple of outdoors shops and checked out some tents, it was all going good.

Then we realised, a cheap tent wasn’t going to do for harsh winters, and we could just continue to repair our cheap tent with ducktape. Probably for the best to save our funds and just get a decent tent at a future date as the weather demanded. Instead we got a couple of new EDC bags and watched a film (cinema tickets are less than £3!), then returned to the wifi restaurant, passing an inner city beach party on the way out and really struggling to hold back from stopping for a few drinks.

We succeeded though, and even managed to get some snaps on the way.
