First thing we did was go through all the stuff we’d been brought, which took all morning to spread about the bags and carts so that we could all comfortably make the 60km to Wroclaw. Items sent out included cart parts, walking gear such as shoes and socks (soo many socks), various little things like Kierans titanium spork and some UK foodstuffs we’d both missed.
We eventually got everything packed up and then headed to a market, where we introduced Gaz and Nasib to our diet of jam sandwiches and biscuits.
As it was the first day we kept the distance short, stopping at a nice spot where we played ping pong and watched a lightening storm crack across the sky a distance away.
