Got up and went to queue at the exceptionally busy breakfast, ends up the hostel is much bigger than we thought. At breakfast we met Siglinde Kallnbach, an artist who has spent many years of her life collecting signatures in art form to raise awareness for cancer charities (and also a bit of an art activist). Nice lady who we wish luck with her work.
Though it was dry, we had slept in beds, and enjoyed a buffet breakfast, we were not rested, and the walk out of Kassel was slow. Made it to a really nice bit of country though and set up a pleasant camp.
