Southampton UK 09.04.2012

Took two days to get here from Salisbury, had a sack truck tyre puncture outside Totton, so stayed at the Green Pastures camping site where literally everyone we met, from the owner to our neighbours, were actually lovely people. They let us camp up underneath the barn which was a godsend the next morning as it did nothing but rain constantly, all day.
On the walk in we met another cyclist who stopped to chat, told us all about his travels and gave us some real good advice and support, and explained about a project of his which will see him cycle from Southampton to India later this year (good luck!).
Right now we’re spending a day here to catch up with emails and update the blog etc, as well as let Kierans feet have a chance to rest and Arjuns hips. Nothing debilitating, but want to keep ourselves in good shape as we have a long way yet to go.
